# VLR - Visitor Location Register

#### Visitor Location Register (VLR)

The Visitor Location Register (VLR) is a database in mobile networks that temporarily stores information about subscribers who are currently within its coverage area. 

It supports the network in handling roaming and calls by storing data such as the subscriber's location, status, and service entitlements.
